The Role
We are seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to join our collaborative design team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a graduate to develop their skills by working on a wide variety of projects across many sectors, gaining real engineering experience from day one.
You will work under the guidance of Senior and Mechanical Design Engineers to:
- Develop practical, manufacturable solutions to real engineering problems.
- Produce 3D CAD models, designs, and detailed technical drawings
- Use a wide range of CAD packages to meet each customer’s specific requirements.
- Apply problem-solving skills to deliver cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.
- Work to agreed project timescales while meeting customer needs.
- Contribute to concept generation, materials selection and design improvements.
- Undertake stress calculations and ensuring suitable material selection.
